A2Z Athletics runs targeted campaigns and programs to make sports accessible to all young athletes. From donation drives to community partnerships, we're actively working to break down barriers and create opportunities.

Thanksgiving Drive / Giving Tuesday - Special Olympics Southern California

This Thanksgiving and Giving Tuesday, help empower athletes with disabilities across Southern California. Special Olympics Southern California serves nearly 25,000 athletes through 13 sports across 4 seasons in 11 counties. Your donation will support seasonal sports training, athletic competitions, leadership development, and health programs that help athletes develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, and experience joy through sports.

Giving Tuesday (December 2nd) is a global day of giving - and many corporations offer donation matching programs that can double your impact! Check with your employer to see if they'll match your contribution to help even more athletes achieve their dreams.

Thanksgiving Drive / Giving Tuesday - Adaptive Sports & Adventures Program (ASAP)

Support adaptive athletes this holiday season! The Adaptive Sports & Adventures Program (ASAP) at Atrium Health Foundation challenges youth and adults with physical disabilities to develop skills for an active, productive lifestyle without barriers. ASAP offers competitive and recreational adaptive sports including rugby, water-skiing, cycling, hand-cycling, snow skiing, swimming, kayaking, curling, tennis, and youth triathlons - recognized as a Bronze-Level U.S. Paralympic Sport Club.

Giving Tuesday (December 2nd) is the perfect time to make a difference - and your donation could go even further! Many companies match charitable contributions during Giving Tuesday. Check with your HR department to see if your employer participates in donation matching programs to double your impact for adaptive athletes.

Fall Sports Donation Drive - California

As students head back to school and fall sports seasons begin, many young athletes face barriers to participation due to equipment costs and registration fees. Let's help ensure every child can join their teammates on the field, court, or track this season. Our California-wide campaign is collecting sports equipment, funding registration fees, and providing gear to students across Irvine and Calabasas who dream of playing their favorite fall sports.

Atrium Health Foundation - Adaptive Sports & Adventures Program (ASAP)

The Adaptive Sports & Adventures Program (ASAP) is designed to challenge youth and adults with physical disabilities to develop skills that will lead to and enhance an active and productive lifestyle – one without barriers or limits. ASAP provides competitive and recreational adaptive sport opportunities including rugby, water-skiing, cycling, hand-cycling, snow skiing, swimming, kayaking, curling, tennis, and youth triathlons for individuals with physical disabilities in the Charlotte community and surrounding areas.

Red Bull - Wings For Life Partnership

A2Z Athletics partnered with Wings For Life, a spinal cord research foundation, to support their mission of finding a cure for spinal cord injury. This collaboration focused on adaptive sports programs and raising awareness about the importance of inclusive athletics for individuals with spinal cord injuries.

Through this partnership, we helped promote adaptive sports opportunities and contributed to research efforts that benefit athletes with disabilities, aligning with our core mission of making sports accessible to all young people regardless of their physical abilities.

Used Equipment Holiday Donation Drive - Calabasas, CA

Our holiday donation drive in Calabasas focused on collecting gently used sports equipment to redistribute to young athletes in need. This community-driven initiative brought together local families to ensure that financial barriers wouldn't prevent kids from participating in their favorite sports. The campaign successfully collected hundreds of pieces of equipment including cleats, gloves, helmets, and sporting goods that were distributed to local youth programs.

A2Z X NYLM Donation Drive

A2Z Athletics partnered with the National League of Young Men (NYLM) to create a powerful donation drive that combined our mission of sports accessibility with NYLM's focus on developing young men into community leaders through service and leadership involvement.

This collaboration leveraged NYLM's network of young leaders in grades 9-12 across multiple chapters to organize community service events focused on sports equipment collection and youth athletics support. The partnership demonstrated how structured youth leadership programs can amplify charitable impact while developing the next generation of community-minded leaders.

USC Alumni Association - Service Initiative

A2Z Athletics partnered with the USC Alumni Association to organize a community service initiative in the Northridge area. This collaboration brought together USC alumni and current students to support local youth athletics programs through equipment donations, mentorship, and volunteer support.

The initiative leveraged the Trojan Family network to create lasting impact in the community, connecting accomplished alumni with young athletes who could benefit from their guidance and support. This partnership exemplified USC's commitment to service and community engagement while advancing our mission of making sports accessible to all.

Local Hockey Youth Clubs Partnership

A2Z Athletics partnered with multiple local hockey youth clubs to expand access to ice hockey programs for young athletes. These partnerships focused on providing equipment, training opportunities, and financial assistance to help kids participate in hockey programs regardless of their economic background.

Our collaboration included working with established clubs like the California Golden Bears Youth Hockey (established 1964), the Ventura Mariners Hockey Club (established 1995), and the California Heat Hockey to create pathways for underserved youth to access quality hockey training, equipment, and competitive opportunities.

One of California's oldest hockey clubs (est. 1964), offering programs from Learn-to-Play through AAA competitive levels with a strong focus on player development and advancement.
